Dark Circles: The Dawn Of Aging

Dark circles, creases, skin folds, fine lines and puffiness are some of the common aging signs and the dawn of aging starts with dark circles. Eyes are the elusive part of body and get affected directly as we expose it to extreme conditions. The external factors like ultra violet rays from from the sun penetrates in the skin pores and destroy skin collagen assembly. With the destruction of collagen, the skin loses its firmness and starts to sag. This sagging of skin causes skin to wrinkle and appear older.

The free radicals present in the environment that are caused due to certain reactions also affect collagen arrangement as well as elastin. Collagen and elastin plays a very important role in reducing skin elasticity, thus causing skin to sag.

Apart from the dark circles are formed in majority of people and hence often are uncared and ignored. These dark circles under the eyes give unpleasant look. Internal factors like hormonal disturbances and genetic transformations also contribute in dark circles formation.

Dark circles give a bad appearance about yourself. It makes you look exhausted and pathetic. However it may gives you an ugly appearance. This usually happens due to stress, working for overnight, and insufficiency of nutrients. Therefore most of anti-aging eye creams contain nutrients and moisturizing ingredients. Different types of oils are used for moisturizing skin layer and thus offering soothing effect.

Skin under the eyes is very much hypersensitive and thin. Along with this, it lacks oil glands and contains large number of capillaries. With the destruction of skin’s essential components- collagen and elastin, skin becomes thinner and appears grey. Thus, appearing dark circles under eyes.
