Product Overview

Skin Doctors the company is based out of Australia. Skin Doctors claims to be in existence for 10 years now, but no other details about the company nor its staff is given in the website. It offers three formulas for the eye area: Eye Smooth, Eye Circle and Eye Tuck.

Skin Doctors Eye Smooth claims to reduce crow’s feet and other types of wrinkles. There are main three components to help in the process. Matrixyl 3000 is an impressive ingredient that does seem to have a visible effect on wrinkles. Sesa Flash is an exclusive ingredient that apparently produces a tightening effect. No other information on this component is given. It also contains Tagravit, which apparently is a micronized version of Retinol. It protects the eye area skin from getting damage.

Skin Doctors Eye Circle contains two main components help diminish the appearance of dark circles. Haloxyl is a fairly common ingredient found in many other eye treatment products. This peptide complex helps the capillaries (blood vessels) that feed the eye become stronger. Often, these capillaries become weak and the pooled blood that collects in the skin causes dark circles. Haloxyl effects on enhancing circulation to the eye. Eye Circle also contains Walteria Indica, a botanical component that brightens and softens the skin with added pigmentation.

Skin Doctors Eye Tuck consists of three main ingredients intended to reduce under-eye puffiness. Eye Seryl has a chain of peptides (proteins) that helps to remove excess water that could contribute to bagginess. However, Eye Tuck also contains Apricot Oil and Shea Butter, which are known moisturizers that are known for their ability to foster moisture retention in the skin. As if this wasn’t confusing enough, water retention is only one possible (and far less common) cause of puffiness.

The Good

- Haloxyl helps to improve circulation and under eye puffiness.
- Matrixyl 3000 present in Skin Doctors Eye Circle helps to diminish wrinkles and fine lines.

The Bad

- Three eye treatments must be purchased individually
- No offers for the consumers.
- Online shopping function does not seem to work in the U.S.

- No complete information is available about the other ingredients in the formulas.
-
It is more common to have puffy eyes due to improper blood flow and skin that has become inflamed as a result. Eye Tuck does not address these issues.

Dos And Don’ts

The Skin Doctors web site is incomplete. The site also lacks some important information that will make it difficult for the average consumer to find out whether they would like to try any or all three of the eye formulas in the line. More importantly, even if a visitor decides to purchase one or more of these products, it is nearly impossible to do so, since no prices are listed and the web site’s “shopping cart” function does not seem to work for customers in the U.S. You can go for the products but it will be difficult for you to find out the rates and buy them.

Final Comment

One cannot be confident with Skin Doctors. There are more questions than answers, and seeing that it is nearly impossible for Americans to purchase these products online anyway, one cannot recommend it with full confidence.
